the hospital

Passion. Experience. Diligence.

History

The Global Evangelical Mission Hospital first opened its doors in Krapa-Ejisu in 1995, the culmination of a dream by the church to establish a healthcare facility in the Ashanti Region. It soon became clear that a larger facility was needed to serve the community and after several years, the hospital moved to its current location in Apromase and began operating in 2004.

Since then, the hospital and the team have grown steadily, bringing on resources and personnel that have helped to meet the urgent need for quality healthcare in the area. In addition to traditional medical services offered at the hospital, an outreach team was also established to reach out to communities outside of the hospital’s orbit, providing mobile health services and community health education.

The Global Evangelical Mission Hospital operates under the auspices of the Christian Health Association of Ghana, and is duly licensed and accredited by all relevant bodies in Ghana.
